ABOUT THESE PAINTINGS: I allow
dozens of layers of oil paint to unfold and
present itself in various spontaneous patterns and themes. I paint this
series while listening to
meditative music ranging from romantic classical to electric violins. During
the painting or after it is complete, I write two lines of poetry with
titles expressing my feelings in response to the mood of the painting. My
hope is that these paintings express healing energy to the viewer.
